Sleep regression

So today was not bad. Im feeling much better. More patient. This week was hard. I have a short temper and the receiving end is sadly my children. So today I did not cooked. I went to Sun Plaza to buy lunch and Dapur Ummi's catering for dinner. Bought them chicken chop but Matin wont eat it. Not even french fries. Safiya ate the chicken but leave out the french fries because it was soggy with gravy. And so back to topic. Sleep regression. Before, I dont know what sleep regression is. I dont think Safiya had sleep regression. Or maybe it wasnt that noticable. With Matin, I know sleep regression when it occured. It was soo bad and it took afew weeks to be better. He never missed it. He hit every single one of it. It usually coincides with growth spurts but all I know its really bad. So now I'm in the middle of it. Right smack in the middle of it. Sleep regression because of new sibling. Yup I googled it. But then again its just a phase. So for now.. just hang on.. yes you can do it!

And so its been a looooong time since i blogged. I feel that I should start blogging again. Its just for memories sake. So that I can look back and recall the ups and downs of raising 3 kids. Yes. 3 kids. S, M and L. Nur Safiya, Abdul Matin Rayyan and Luthfi Abdul Hadi. Safiya is now 5, Matin 2 and Luthfi almost 2 months old. Its been crazy lately. With a newborn, a toddler and a preschooler. But I'm really blessed. Matin's been really cranky lately, with tantrums and what nots. And the awful sleep regression. Arrghhh.. There's sooo much to write. My mind is all over the place right now. Will be back insya Allah.

Dear Safiya

Dear Safiya, It's been awhile since mama updated this blog.. It's becos mama is spending soo much time with you.. Mama loves u so much.. U are my precious! Today u are 1 yr 10 months +.. you are soo close to 2! Such a big girl now! U are very very playful now.. always asking mama n papa to play with u.. U are able to communicate better now.. you learnt lots n lots of words! N now its the holidays so we r spending sooo much time together as a family.. papa has planned out our itinery! there'll be lots of fun! In Shaa Allah! To the zoo, swimming, playground, picnic, bird park n sooo much more!! looking forward to spending soo much time with u! =))

1 year 1 month plus

My dear Safiya,

You are so adorable. I love you so much.. u bring so much laughter in our lives.. every moment is such so perfect and beautiful.. U started walking at 1 yr plus.. on 23 February.. thats when u took the longest step without falling.. It amazing.. =)

Now u are sleeping so peacefully.. n u r able to understand everything so well.. its jus wonderful to have u..N u r able to sip on straws a few days back.. =)

hmmm... need to keep track of these..

1) Safiya's able to sit on her own at 6 mnths plus...
2) Crawling starts at 9 mnths plus (real crawling)
3) Cruising starts at 9/10 mnths plus..
4) First teeth at 10 mnths plus..
5) Now safiya has 4 teeths!
6) Climbing down frm bed/ sofa at 10 mnths plus..
7) Walk with walker at 10 mnths plus..
8) Her possessiveness of her toys at 10 mnths plus..
9) Her becokness at 10 mnths plus..
10) Her intelligence improved dramatically at 10 - 11 mtnths..
11) Being able to understand what is said at 10 mnths plus..
12) Know people by name at 11 mnths..
13) saying 'cat' and 'sun'at 10 mnths almost 11..
14) started dancing at 10 mnths plus.
15) First time stand on her two feet while clapping hands at 11 mnths.. 1/1/2012
16) Climbing stairs n rocker at 10 mnths almost 11..
17) Clapping of hands at 10 mnths..
18) Giving things to people and then clap hands at 10 mnths...

Oh ya safiya is an expert at crawling now! She's been crawling at 10 mnths!

Safiya is so sweet and adorable.. n she's so smart! She has her first teeth! A teennie weenie teeth at the top.. I spotted it when she was crying at the top of her lungs!Finally!

She's gd at clapping now.. so adorable.. It is truly a blessing to be your mother.. now i know how it feels like to be a mother.. I loev you more than I could love myself..

This is the best part of being a teacher! December! 2 holidays.. awesome!!!

First KL ( 3 - 6 dec)

Safiya, this is your first trip overseas and your first plane ride! Mama am so nervous.. but alhadulillah it went well.. It went better than well.. it's awesome!! =))

The room is fantastic.. There are a few flaws here n there, but it is so cozy and spacious, perfect for a family like ours... I love that room..

Second MBS (10 - 13 Dec)

This is Mama's honeymoon.. The room is great too.. although i take a long time to love it.. There's a balcony.. the toilet is grwat, the room is so modern.. but it gets lonely sometimes.. cos mama miss u soo much.. Mama just wants to hold u and smell u and cuddle u and kiss u..

The food is great to the point of awesomeness! Haha!!
